Alright! Finally the first outfit post of 2016. Last few weeks have been so busy with the Akira’s birthday, holidays and San Diego trip that I have not had time to blog much. Busy schedule kept me running for chores. So for this outfit I played around with the basics by pairing my leather skirt with polo neck sweater.
One of my weaknesses is high neck sweaters and tops. I have them in all possible sleeve lengths – long, extra long, sleeveless and quarter sleeves in most of the basic colors. They are so good for layering during the cold winter days. But for this outfit I chose to wear just the plain white polo neck sweater from Zara. The cute button and vent detail on the sleeves make it not so basic.
The whole outfit is form-fitting but flattering at the same time. The fitted polo neck sweater works well with the leather pencil skirt and elongates my body. I kept the accessories to a minimal to highlight the silhouette.
The clutch bag for the outfit is actually an old one from Sisley which I bought from India. I fell for the color and texture of the brown leather of this bag. I can use it as an envelope clutch for evenings and I like how it has a flap which converts it into a a holding bag, perfect for the daytime chores.
And I just needed these cute tall boots to do the walking. 😉
I like ur outfits…i want to buy it..
